Albert,

Are you sure that works when the display settings are wrong in the first 
place? I've had this happen, and even the JAWS cursor reads nothing. When 
it's wrong, nothing reads.

Hi,

To read the display resolution that the slider is set to just press Insert+B 
to read the whole dialog and the first thing it says is the actual 
resolution.
