Stacy try this.  Turn your PC off.  Then, turn on the FW-1884.  Put the unit 
into monitor mode.  Then, press Control Shift and function key F8 to reset the 
MIDI sided of the unit, followed by Control Shift and function key F10 to reset 
all of the audio to unity gain.  Then, turn the unit off.  Finally, turn the 
FW-1884 back on and reboot your PC.  Let me know if this helps.
