Hello:
If you press the applications key while highlighting a specific parameter either in the track view or inspector you can enable that parameter for automation from the context menu.

I am not sure that I have enabled automation write for all parameters. I
must have done that some how. So how can I disable automation write for all
parameters so I can just automate one parameter at a time?

Hi Neville,

Any parameter that can be automated on a track or bus is fair game. If you
enable automation write for all parameters, then anything you do will effect

them. You do have to be on a particular parameter to do automation; however,

if you make changes in effects, volumes, etc, and you do a snapshot anywhere

in a project, those changes will be recorded. The key is to make sure that
the parameters that you want to enable automation writes on are indeed the
ones you want.

Hope this helps.

Mike

Hmmmm I don't tend to automate affects that much. I find that it happens
when I do automation on the volume of any track. I didn't have this problem
until Sonar 8. Has any one else had this problem? If so how did you fix it.
Is it only safe to do automation on busses now?
