hey kevin,
first, you can record a metronome when recording an audio track.
you have the following options availabale for you.
1. you need to go to the sonar options dialog by pressing alt+f and o.
then go to the global options if you want to change the current
settings for all projects.
if you want to set it for the current project you can press on the
project... that is located in the same menu.
then, go to the metronome page by control_tab and check the following
checkboxes: recording, and playback.
then, choose one of your sound card's outputs. that's it!
