Hi D!J!X!,Thanks for saving my rear-end on that one; I totally forgot about the asio drivers scenario. In that case, you'd have to patch a physical cable to get the metronome recorded to a click track. I did try leaving the playback click turned on when I rendered a mix, but it didn't capture it. I didn't have the "What You Hear" parameter set, nor did I check the box to have the audio play back in real time as the rendering process takes place; so I don't know if either one of those ideas will do the trick. If you are using asio drivers for your interface, as you know you canonly select 1 device at a time. So this solution wouldn't work then, well not without some other problems. If you have a saffire interface, this is where the virtual loopback ports come in handy! BTW, I thought you could record a click by setting it to run on playback as well as recording? Sothat when you mix down the bus will include the click track? I think I didthis once a few years ago, don't remember how, but I know it's doable. Or maybe I used a physical cable, can't remember.
