I just got back to work but yes, I remember my wonderful Word Perfect and
DUXWP and I loved them both dearly. Oh sure I like lots of the things I can
do now using Windows but those older programs gave me so much more control
when I wanted it and even when I didn't know how to or exactly what to do.
<g< Sure do miss those days sometimes ... but I do love being able to copy
to the clipboard and all that sort of thing too.

Here here Steve. Do you all remember good old Word Perfect for DOS when you
were expected by the creators of that wonderful old program to know what you
wanted to do with your data and you could pull one file after another into
the same open document? Ah those were the days. DUXWP was a good old
program too. I miss them both like old friends gone away.

Hi everyone,

I'd like to see an option in the File Menu that would allow a file to be
inserted into an already existing document. To understand why, consider
the following scenario:

I am assembling a newsletter consisting of several articles, each of which
comes to me in a separate file. Since I want the final result to be a DBT
file, I start by importing the first article into DBT. For each subsequent
article, I have to open the file, select all of it, copy it to the
clipboard, close it, go back to my original file, and paste in the contents
of the clipboard. While this is certainly doable, the process would be
much simpler if there was an option that allowed me to insert each new
article into my original file at the location of the cursor.

Steve
