Gary, doubtless you know this alreeady but I thought it was neat. They were
talking about the need to insert a file into a document--as we used to be
able to do in Duxwp and Word Perfect. Figured I'd send it along in case you
either (1) didn't know; or (2) somebody else might need to know sometime.

I have a suggestion for this process. Why not go into word and use the
insert option. for keyboard users, while in word, press alt-i for insert,
press the letter l for file and then type in your file name. Word will
insert the file into the document right where the cursor is. Just repeat
this process for every file you would want to place into the document. Then
save the document. Then go into dbtwin and pull up the document using the
word importer.
This is just a suggestion. If anyone else has a better idea, feel free to
leave a suggestion.

Hi everyone,

I'd like to see an option in the File Menu that would allow a file to be
inserted into an already existing document. To understand why, consider
the following scenario:

I am assembling a newsletter consisting of several articles, each of which
comes to me in a separate file. Since I want the final result to be a DBT
file, I start by importing the first article into DBT. For each subsequent
article, I have to open the file, select all of it, copy it to the
clipboard, close it, go back to my original file, and paste in the contents
of the clipboard. While this is certainly doable, the process would be
much simpler if there was an option that allowed me to insert each new
article into my original file at the location of the cursor.
