[torontocbm] Bugged firmware uIEC's and Jim Brain...

First off, just love the WOC show. It was my first and luckily I was able to
make it in time to purchase some goodies for my VIC and C64. Love all the
vendors and the people I met, it was great and I definitely will come next
year. Hopefully I won't need to rescue someone from that storm like we had that
weekend and miss out most of the show.
Luckily I came in time to make some purchases, the vendors were very helpful
and patient with me, and saw many interesting and hard to find products for
commodore computers. One in particular was Jim Brain's uIEC which looks very
promising in terms of low cost storage for my VIC and C64. An excellent
solution to those with many floppies and cassettes stacking on their shelves.
Some slowly degrading over time.
Just wondering if anyone has contacted Jim in terms of sending the programmer
to TPUG, so those of us who purchase the bugged uIEC's would have a workable
uIEC to play around with.
Just eager to try this baby out.
