For the sighted people, I believe the inspector is a magnifying glass
that zooms into the plugin.
Like others have stated. The inspector just displays those parameters.

Chris,

I started out with one Waves Version 8 plug. Other than the changes that
were made in the licensing and installation in Version 9, I think the
behavior of the parameters that show up in the Inspector is the same.

ok now i'm the one confused.

You add effects to the FX Bin but access their
parameters in the Inspector, that is, unless the
effects have been scripted or hot spotted.

Question: With the Waves stuff, have you found
meaninful parameters displayed in the
Inspector? A lot of the time here, I see
accurate names, like attack and release and
threshold on a compressor, but not real world
values in dB and milliseconds. Often, I just see
percentages. I guess it isn't a big problem
since we're supposed to use our ears when
adjusting things anyway, but the geek in me wants
to know what's going on numerically. (grin)

I have Waves version 8 stuff here. Perhaps things have improved with version

9?
