Right, just when you are feeling extremely frustrated that something that
used to work is no longer working, the one thing you long to hear is:

"Really? We have never had that happen to anybody else."

Try uninstalling and removing SONAR's settings and then reinstalling.
However, first back up any projects that you want to save just in case
something bad should happen.

Bill

Hi Bill. That's the one thing I haven't tried yet, pulling audio devices,
because every time I reconnect them it rearranges the order and I have to
run around changing settings. I can try that next though, yeah. I didn't
want to do it because I needed my audio stable for something else, but now I
have a whole week to mess with it until I need that again. The microphone
doesn't have drivers to uninstall. I don't run with a hotkey, just the
shortcut on my desktop. Good to know I can give CW tech support a shot, if I
feel the need to try that. I generally use tech support as an absolute last
resort, because I tend to find that I know enough about computers that if I
feel the need to call tech support, they're not even going to understand my
problem at first. Then they usually tell me they've never had that happen
before, heh. I once even had a company's support tell me it was impossible
for me to do something I was in the middle of doing right that very second.
