Well the send and don't send issue is a windows thing, sonar dowsn't have a
error reporting feature as far as I know. What if you run the wave profiler?
It looks like sonar is crashing.

Now this is interesting. I renamed aud.ini, then held shift and pressed
enter on Sonar, continuing to hold shift. It said it was going to
personalize my user data, I told it to cancel. Then it brought up the wave
profiler and asked if I wanted to do that. I said no. Then it gave
send/don't send again. Now if I start it by holding shift and hitting enter
it also goes back to the send/don't send. Seriously, I just picked a
different driver. That shouldn't make the program completely and utterly
unusable.
