That's why I am glad that I am using a reconditioned 13 inch 2012 Mac Book
Pro. Running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit under boot camp. Haven't
updated to El Capatin yet :-)

AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

Those are the aspects of this laptop that I'm on now.

I wish it was possible to boot Windows 7, but Apple kindly removed that
capability, so in a way, I'm stuck with using Windows 8, or 10 myself as
well, if I do install Windows, unless there's a way to install Windows 7 on
here still, if anyone's tried.

I do know that Protools with Speech

has really really great

tutorials
<http://rweent.com/uploads/filedump/Protools%20With%20Speech%20Tutorials.zip

and even sample content you can work with too.

Now, I know that Avid has been advocating for accessibility for things to
work with there product, but am not sure how many third party software
vendors have done this.

On the Protools with speech site, however there are a good number of

Plugin Presets <http://protoolswithspeech.com/plugin-presets/>

that would work just fine and from what I can tell, there updated often.

There are even some

free <http://protoolswithspeech.com/free-video-tutorials/> video tutorials
on there site

and even a readme to

get you started! <http://protoolswithspeech.com/read-me-first/>

There are a few settings that you'd need to make in the Mac, as with Windows
for JAWS, but there not bad at all, and don't take that long to do.

If you really just sit and listen to them from start to end, you'd find that
it really is totally possible to do work in Protools with Voiceover.

It's a little different then what we're use to doing in Windows in some
small ways, but it's really well done though.

Also, I think that all of the tools for the Mac, and Voiceover and stuff are
there for us, we just got to start putting them to use, as far as coding
wise.

The guys that created audio hijack,

had built Voiceover accessibility in the app and I was really amazed at how
they did it.

I want to try this Protools subscription plan out, but wonder if I'll need
to purchase the iLock, or if I should just do that now to get it over with.

The license manager finally works too! Voiceover has no problems.

I tried following along to the tutorials with the Protools first (free
version) but was unhappy to find that they changed the UI for that, so the
settings I had to make were done, but I couldn't make the final set of
settings in Protools first.
