You wouldn’t be able to use any modern apps, or any of the new API calls for
graphics, which many recent programs are using.

It would probably affect windows while the classic theme was running, unless
there’s some kind of registry changes involved.

What features might be compromised under a windows classic theme in windows 10?
Would that compromise only exist while the windows classic theme was active?
Could be installation of a Windows classic theme do some kind of permanent
alteration to the performance of various windows functions regardless of active
theme? Please elaborate.

The Windows Classic theme doesn't exist in Windows 10. The only option is to
