Have you verified that the Pi has booted? Have you checked your router's main
page to determine the actively connected devices? Is the Pi plugged into the
correct port on the router? Have you verified the cable you are using works
with other devices?

So i just downloaded raspbien, and put it on the sd card, no issues.
My pi isn't showing up on the network. I plugged it in, plugged in
the cat5 cable, and it's not showing up.
