Hi Thomas and others, For mac Users, to use the selection mode with selection bar in Audacity, there’re the following instructions : 1. R : to record. 2. Space bar : to stop recording 3. Interact (VO+Shift+down arrow key) with Panel bar, verify if the track you want work with, is selected. Ever to switch select/unselecte) 4. Uninteract with panel bar (VO+Shift+Up arrow key), and interact with selection bar. 5. Here you have 3 areas with time : Begin selection, end selection and cursor position. Use VOright arrow key or left arrow key to switch between the 3 areas. For example, select de begin selection. Here you can display multi display time format. With VO+Shift+M) access to context menu and change the display time format. Select « Seconds ». Use right arrow key and left arrow key to switch between 00000. To select at 3 seconds of your recordings, do 4 times right arrows key and 3 times up arrows key to display 00003. Make the same thing for the end selection to 10 seconds of your recording, so 3 times right arrow key and 1 time up arrow key to display 00010. You are selected at 3seconds to 10seconds of your recordings. 6. apply your actions. I don’t know if I wrote correctly and everybody hunderstood.
