Absolutely - I haven't found a better way of making you think you're playing like a god when, in fact, you're all over the place. If you're serious about your craft there aren't any short cuts - you've just got to work at it until you can do the job in the context you need to get it done in. There's lots of clips out there of great players who performed stoned and they make your teeth itch.
