The shift 2 on my keyboard is the "at" sign, used in email addresses. The rules have changed many times over the years and I've been reading braille since 1958. I learned there were differences between braille written in the 20's and 30's and braille written in the 90's. There was even a period where the double quote was changed to dot 6 2,3,6 and dots 2,3,5,6 3 and the single quote was 2,3,6 and 3,5,6. That didn't last long, thank goodness! The change I would be opposed to is the One-code braille" idea. Braille would be going backwards, not forwards. Terri Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA.
