And you get what you pay for.

If I spend the money and get an Apple I get the support of the company which is 
very good, I get good quality current hardware and a very solid configuration 
that just works.  Your yard sale special can’t match that especially in the 
business world.  Maybe for the home hobby user but not in the professional 
space.  At least that’s been my experience yours may vary and I find your 
viewpoints well reasoned and very interesting btw.
