Hey Terry you said you’ve only had the board for a little over a year did you
check the warranty and see how much you have left because I am know for a fact
that mine has a two year warranty you can always bring it in and they’ll take a
look at it it’s at soundcraft
Additionally have you ever tried a service called go fund me the service allows
you to raise money is for whatever equipment you need you can actually reach
out to the whole world and you’ll see if they can help you out to get your new
board with moneys
I’m not trying to suggest that everyone go this route but they’ve had people
actually do go fund me campaign’s for their own vacations and all that jazz
just another way to reach out if you’re stuck or strapped for cash
Finally could you not reach out to your state service to see if they can find
you as you’re trying to start a home business for gaining an income?
I’m just trying to help you out as I can see you’re very very angry about this
just trying to reach out trying to see what other way I can help you out with

My stuff is all plugged in to one surg protecter, but I've actually
only blown one other board and that was because someone plugged an amp
in the wrong place and they had their volume to high and it blew that
board. I will however sepparate my
gear from now on, but it looks like this boar is fryed I am just so
sick because I don't know how I'll replace it. Looks like I won't be

Hi, there are 2 usb ports on the mtk. one is only for power, that is the one
by fantom power. the other is for datta, and is in the plug area. right in
front of the RCA Plugs.

Did you try Michael's test of the board without a USB port?
Test your board's power supply. Do you have a voltmeter or friends with
one? If your power supply is bad, maybe it's trying to suck power from the
USB port and it can start but once it gets going, it needs more power and
can't get enough and drops out.
