Hi, there are 2 usb ports on the mtk. one is only for power, that is the one by fantom power. the other is for datta, and is in the plug area. right in front of the RCA Plugs.
if this was already mentioned, disreguard this message. I didn't read all the posts!

Did you try Michael's test of the board without a USB port?

Test your board's power supply. Do you have a voltmeter or friends with one? If your power supply is bad, maybe it's trying to suck power from the USB port and it can start but once it gets going, it needs more power and can't get enough and drops out.

pc), are fine. Is it possible that the port on the soundcraft is bad?
