company which is very good, I get good quality current hardware and a

IMO, it's a tough call. A Mac with voiceover is going to be a lot
more expensive than a Windows machine with nvda. Which gives better
bang for the buck? I think it is a tough call.
I can even see a case for a linux machine with orca being the best
bang for the buck. Linux and orca will run on just about anything.
You can probably buy a used computer for $100, put linux on it, and
have a machine with a screen reader for just the cost of the bare
hardware.
