George, for someone who supposedly has an unlimited data plan even though
you were crying about usage like you had the lowest plan available.:)

Delete key is in the upper right hand corner right below the power and
function keys.  It's larger and rectangular.  Press it, the messages go
away.  You can even highlight the whole thread and whack the whole thing
with out reading it.
